Blog Income Report – August 2011
August 2010 was the best month so far and the vital point to note here – it was an Affiliate Month! 90 % of my income was from affiliate sales and approximately 10% was from Google Adsense. I don’t extensively use adsense on my blogs but I have observed the Adsense income to shoot up exponentially with traffic. I did not do any writing services or even any reviews, so purely the income is from Affiliate marketing.
Traffic Details
Orangecopper is my primary blog and it clocks the highest traffic on the Blog network. NapIncome is doing great when noticed that it is a comparatively newer blog (8 months old). Our Google analytic data shows we are nearing the 900,000 Page views mark on a monthly basis with a steady decent growth rate with OC and NI alone. Thank you readers!

- Inmotion Hosting – 50 x 1 = 50 USD
- Hostgator – 50 x 2 = 100 USD
- SEOpressor – 62 x 4 = 249 USD
- Daily WP themes – 42 x 5 = 210 USD
- Thesis WordPress Theme – 42 x 5 = 210 USD
- StudioPress Themes – 30 x 20 – 600 USD
Total Income Summary for August 2011
- Total Affiliate Income: 3510 USD
- Adsense Income: 560 USD
Total Monthly Income: 4070 USD
Take Home: Every other metrics and factors are related to simply one big factor – Traffic. Build a good user base on the foundation of solid and unique, quality content. You will certainly find success very soon.

Firstly Let me know few things..
1. How long is it now after you have started this blog?
2. How many articles have you published on your blog?
3. Are you doing onpage and offpage SEO for your blog?
In addition, just a suggestion – you might want to work on the blog design and reduce the ads as its very cluttered and difficult for a fresh visitor.

Hi joshu,
After spending so much time on SEO,
Now my blog is quiet OK and it is getting around 70%(google analytic last 20 days) of it’s total traffic from google and other search engine.
My blog is quiet new so it gets near about 400 unique visitors on an average.
By the way what theme is this is(name of this theme)?
